I'm totally equating that love with New Super Mario Bros. Wii, or NSWMBW because I won't retype that. I don't get giddy about games THAT often (okay maybe a few times a year), but 1st party Nintendo stuff makes me extra giddy, and Mario platformers, OH MAN. The only thing that's as awesome is Metal Gear, and that's a fars away before a new one makes me all afiasojfaiojfa.

So a similar note, Brett's coming over for two days or something like that. ??? is the response as to shenanigans. So between him, and well, mostly NSMBW, and hopefully last week of school, aka transitioning into exam mode, as long as I can skip my class next Monday, whcih it seems like I might, I'll be distracted and such.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. Normalcy Saturday I hope.

Notes:
Basing this off the tentative times so far, moving SE an hour later, and hoping to reduce conflicts with other shoots. Taking into consideration who might be there and not for bigger shoots and for certain costumes (Eve, Noah, Azuma, etc.). The GS/Y!J time should cover everyone hopefully. BTW ANYONE WANNA COSPLAY GARETT? Likely dropping a TB group shoot for this con, so it gives Sam, Karen (in case you don't get to come), Jack, Pierce, and a few others a chance to come together for a bigger group come Ota, unless we somehow get a massive group, it might still be on. Leaving two open spaces for Lovecom (as long as you come Kristina), as well as a possible Lag!alternate or a last minute ocstume addition, which I REALLY hope doesn't happen. Bling yo.

This looks to be a lot more solid than my last list, but I'll update it again soonish no doubt. I mean, it only took one day since the last update ;x.

Happy Halloween peeps!

I might put on Noah later for some closet!fuckery. I wish I coulda gone to Greenville for Panera shennaigans. but with work and with trying to figure out WHAT THE FUCK I have to do for Income Tax (adjusted basis FTL), I just can't bleeeh.

BUT. The more Shaman King flows through my foryuka, the more badly I wanna do Oversoul!Yoh. I haven't been this excited for a cosplay in a while, at least construction-wise. I might just start working on the headphones this month, despite me not debuting the costume till AZ probably.

Though if I get ambitious, I might debut it at Ichiban. Speaking of, I'll probably do Roku there, if a certain Steph cares to join some Bemani fun. Obscurity awesomenesss!

And I'm also really excited for Otakon. Aside from SE retirement shenanigans that I want to do, Tiffany might come...and cosplay. Getting Tiffany to cosplay is like...getting Patrick to cosplay. It's a notch ABOVE making Hitsu Bankai and about even as accomplishment-wise goes for Full Body Regalia Nue.

Hopefully she'll pick something easy. YOU HEAR THAT RABBIT? Tegami or Vocaloid, gogogo.

Three more weeks of classes left. I'm just generally worried about Income Tax, everything else seems doable. I'm gonna do my best to impress my ConLaw professor, cause he's fly.

Oh, passed Dignity on Crazy on PIU. If I can pass the Danger Zones, I'll be back around my stamina range from two years ago. Not my attack-level yet, but, getting there.

So started my way back up the Pump It Up latter-took the Beat of the War 2 score today. What's Going On, you're next >:|. That's MY song, who the fuck do people think they are, with their 99.83% complete. Fuck that, 100% any and all Turtle songs.

At this pace though, I'll probably forget how to play 4-Panel (DDR/ITG), but I should play every once in a while since it's OG.

Also started replying CvS2 with my Tekken 5 hori, cause it's pretty, and maaaaaan, why do I love multi-partner games like this and MVC2 (though I suck at it) and Tekken Tag (KINGXHWORANG) so much. On that note, I'm conflicted as to when to get Tekken 6. It's without a doubt dropping in volume, but by the time it does, everyone wiill be really good and stuff :<. Same thing with DJ Hero...it's soooo sexy looking, and it actually looks fun, I waaaaant, but $120, geez.

And let's see. I think I'm just not gonna try SSB. I'm alright enough to beat Patrick half the time, and that's really what it comes down to in life...beating Patrick (see: Farmville).

Also restarted playing Initial D, but...racing games aren't really big competitive-wise...anywhere...in the country. Except for like, the Break...and that's Jersey.

Aside from that, I think I've leveled out on IIDX, and I might just stay there, cause as suggested by Steph...you have to be Japanese to be good a it. Same with Pop'n, but if I got a Pop'n desktop arcade, I'd be all over that.

But for now, that should be a good restart. It was all the competitive games I was best as (or their counterparts). I'll still play stuff like Lumines, Arcana Hearts, and GGXX, but just for funs. I'm on the fence about putting more effort into SFIV or BB though, with their updated versions coming out soon (SUPER STREET FIGHTER FOUR ALPHA MAX...THIS SUMMER). And then there's Battle Phantasia, the cute fighting game no one else plays but that I adore >:.

And shooters, no one plays shooters ever.

But not FPS's.

No, not FPS's.

OMG. That could quite possibly the best concert I've ever been to, knocking out System of a Down from the spot. Dude seriously, as if it weren't enough that Kevin Focus was REALLY good and the Forum had a better sound system, Tiesto played KIDS. I don't think I've ever fanboyed for a song so badly in my life. And then Tiesto brings out Adagio for Strings and that just made the place go NUTS. And as if to top himself, he played He's a Priate...AND some Spanish-guitar riff-stuff things which I sorta recognized but don't kwno the name of. That was an odd one off his last non-In Search of Sunrise album but it was gooooood. Man, this guy knows how to play to a crowd SO well. I'll upload some videos of it if wireless is compliant tonight :x.

Almost completely caught up in the new fall season. I've seen some of the obscure crap, and I need to watch 11Eyes and that weird anime that replaced TokMag.

On anime-news, WOW, Shaman King is really good. I AM LATE. I'm already plotting on how to make that sword, once I actually get to it. Anyone (significanlty) taller (VERY significantly) wanna be my shogun-defying spirit weapon thing?

On non-geeky news, I'm a litlte past the mid-way point fo school now. Six more weeks of school before exam time. But I'll make a little more serious post about those things later on today or tomorrow.

URGENT UPDATE
NYAN KOI MIGHT BE THE GREATEST ANIME EVER.

Man guys, I'm going to be hopefully having bacon FOUR days in a row. Good times, good times.

So yeah, the new anime season started up. As well as the new American TV season, but the only thing of note there is Smallville, because of my precious Tom Weilling. Fox freaking canceled King of the Hill for the crapshow that is another McFarlene or whatever production, the Cleveland Show. BUT, Ventures Brothers in two weeks should offset that. 24 won't start up again until probably next season, and I'm afraid tostart watching Heroes or restart watching House

Oh, yeah. Anime, since 90% of the LJ is preferably interested in it as opposed to my Tom-fanboying.

My biggest interested (Tegami) was well-done, so I'm happy.Gonna watch the rest tonight, though Kampher, which I have watched, sucked. Nyan Koi looks <3, KITTY SENSEI JUMPSUIT VERSION. And then there's everything else. FAIRY TAIL. I wonder what took over Eden's/Tokyo Mag's timeslot. Those shows tend to be big deals/high profile.

Man the weather's been sucking lately.

I seriously thought I had something more poignant or interesting to say besides that, but I just drnak the last of my Mountain Dew and my body's going into energy conservation mode. I -could- open up another can and/or bottle. And you know what, I will!

On a different note, it looks like Neko is back out again. As much as I'd like to go to a con with the japanese word for cat in its name, 1) $$$, 2) not everyone I thought would go is going to go, 3) distance. So, I think I'm gonna put off Nekocon, and buy pretty clothes instead. I need some new gray sneakers with cats on them anyways. I'm not kidding. I saw a pair of Pumas the other day and the kitty was adorable and the gray was a really nice shade.

Oh, yeah, topic relevance. So instead of Neko, I'm gonna possibly just redo Natsu and Eve for Katsu, push back Leo/Loki (maybe) for a future con, either AZ/AN/Ota, depending on wher elife takes me, and possibly, POSSIBLY, go to Ichibaribobarbififiefofaribebiboari,ICHIBARIcon, especally if Kristina goes, in which case, OMG LOVECOM WATER PARK COSPLAY.

Quite possibly, the end-all of all cosplays. Unless we do a Chi's group one day. That could possibly have the world go End-of-Eva on us.

I honestly had other things to say, but I'm blanking.

Anime Weekend Atlanta 2009 Report - Expediated for Cesar

And here ya go.

I didn't sleep completely bad on Thursday, despite knowing I'd be all worrysome about the wigs arriving. My plan was to leave right after my HL class around 1:40, with a possible alternative plan to sneak around, check to see if I got the wigs, and head back to calss if I didn't. Aroudn 1:40, I decide to go witht eh alternative plan, and low and behold, no wigs.

So I go to class, leave class, run to apartment, and nada. I decide to take a nap but to wake up by 5PM, cause that's when the front office clsoes and I don't want UPS to screw me over by failing to have someone answer. I get knocked out and wake up at 4:45 or so, running downstairs with a Throwback in my hand and homework in the other.

Whilest waiting, I call Jared up, and just frolick about, hoping that hte wig comes. I see a UPS trukc pass, but not through its normal route, and I assume its yet to deliver packages to the apartment. Fifteen minutes later, I decide to go in and check, just in case. Right as I come in, the night staff is putting up a new sign with my package listing as having arrived.

So I grab the bag, and hightail it out of Columbia, hitting massive amounts of rain, roads full of nothing, and only getting slightly lost, unlike last year, until finally making it to the hotel, w here I met up with Jared. We walked around, I got my badge, and then we walked around so more before I met up with Addie and her buddie, Kimberlee.

So we talk with Adworth and Kimmy for a bit before we depart our mutual ways. Ithink we were all a little under-energized at this point, with teh rain having overwhelemed us, despite it juts being a drizzle. It was more of the hike between the con center and the hotel that made it bad.

I belive it was Addie who said on Friday night, "Oh you're in the Sheraton, that's close,it's connected by the bridge!." Which, to her defense, she was right about. In the same way that California is close to New Jersey because it's connected by I-80. In the defense of the rooms, they were HUGE. That's what she (the female hotel) said!

Friday went from Reborning with Addie early int eh day, to meowing some people afterwards, running into Bur and her sex-feather of light purple awesome early int the day, to running into Jeb and Fayte-whose-name-I-don't-remember, to more running into peeps like Em and Nikki, to running to and from the convention center on the bridge and across the road, to putting on Soul for the small SE shot on Friday, to meeting up with Kristina (MY FAVORITE RISA <3333) to finally putting on Stellar!Natsu and wearing wings, which I LOVED, and getting brief moments of sunlight, during which Jordan's awesome skills took over and he took some pics of me.

Afterwards, we frolicked some more, including but not limited to, Casey being stuck waiting for her room, threatening to ejaculate in Zip's hat if she won the costume contest (FORESHADOWING), more walking, more talking, and just a lot of that over and over, including some shopping at the mall with Jordan, because we're gay like that.

Later that night, I put on Otani and join Casey and Kristina, as the latter and I form the cutest Lovecom pair ever (CASEY WHERE THE FORK ARE MY PICTURES). We eat our fries alongside with Kim before she heads off, proceed to get stared at by normies, continue to eat despite having a leafblower blown on us, wander around, have Kristina carry me, pick up Kristina and have her flash people, get Moolatta pics with Casey in fron tof them, and finally come back to the con ecnter to sit around and talk with Addington and Kimster.

The Lovecom reception was AWESOME. We were stunned people recognized. The ones that did were stunned that there were Lovecomers. And they were moreso stunned that were height approrpiate.

Ultimately, the day ends with more talking and walking, which, because of the rain and such, tended to be the norm of the con. Oh yeah, somewhere along the lines, either today or Saturda,y i freak out a Saki cosplayer. GO FIGURE..

Saturday comes about, aka busy day. I put on Kisuke, wrapping him up WAY too tight (I still have scars, actually), and only getting ot wear him or about ow hours, before realizing how uncomfortable I am and changing out after a few pictures with Katie, getting driven back to the hotel by a shuttle driver who seemed kinda uneasy but at least nice enough to give a cosplayer a ride in the rain.

I put on Ash really wuick, then Soul, and have the SE shot. Afterwards, we all just kinda chill back, talking the piano and inadvertedly showing up in the background of a video on youtube already. I go with Casey to her KHR shoot after being distracted in teh dealer's room, then head back, buy a few items, as I have no idea if I'll be allowed Sunday into the dealer's room, because of my Fri-Sat badge, and then headback to the room, to venture on to put Isaac.

I felt a little uncomfortable about Isaac, because I didn't think anyone would recognize me, and it was a litlte work to put on and would take out time from my FT and LC cosplaying, which I knew I already loved. But man, am I glad I wore it. SO MUCH FUN, especially getting props for being in a classic game cosplay. I'm really glad I went through it, and save for a few costume malfunctions which i can always fix, everything went smoothly. Met a cool kid because of it, wore a skirt because of it, and just managed to be able to enjoy it massively, penis-sword and all.

CAPE.

Also, sometime around here, Zip tells us she won Most Abimitious in the costume contest =D! So CONGRATS ZIP! And CONGRATS TO JARED AND I, FOR THAT MEANS WE GET TO SOIL HER HAT =D!!

So next up, I go back to the room, get rained, etc.etc., change into streetclothes!Otani, head back, get the guys, get my keys, drive us to food, Pollo Loco, Dunkin Donuts, and head back. Got some ice cream too =D!

We meet up with Addieton and Kim and sit around, enjoying the dripping cieling, cell phone sex (no, not phone sex, literally cell phone sex), chair-changing, Kristina-molesting, elevator-riding, rave-raving, Facebook-picturing good times, before again, heading back, getting rained on, nd settling donw in teh night ot the ambience of dubbed anime on Adult Swim.

Sunday rolls about, i put on Eve, and wow, I did not expect how much fun this would be. Basically, Kristina (Hibiki), Casey (Ren), and me decide to hit on girls or something which devolves into us trying to get the most pictures of us with our womenz (I get the old, Casey gets the young, WHICH BTW IS UNFAIR AT AN ANIMECON WHERE LOLI IS THE WORD, and Kristina gets them all). Somehow, Kristina who a big lead, ends up in last, I end up in second place despite what I will fairly call a valiant effort, and Casey blows us out of the water somehow, especially with her five-hit combo at the end of it all.

Casey, you're a pimp :|. Now stop lurking around 5 year olds, they're too old for you.

After the contest ends, I start to feel the lag of not having drunk Mountain Dew morning, but alas, it's the last day and I was going ot leave anyways. I get a chance to say goodbye to mostly everyone, running into Pierce, Kelly, Zip, Katie, Kim, as well as Bur and GWIIIIIIIIIIFFFIE and company, and finally meeting up with Iwiwal in person, as well as encountering people I haven't seen in a while (Chikusa from last year, Natsu from Jday which is really old school for me), and then finally saying bye to everyone else, BYEJARED.

Head back home, stop for food twice in my three hour commute, get home, do nothing but talk to people online, loathe, loathe, loathe, and here I am. The con went by pretty smoothly, and the rain was bad, as was the distance betwene teh con center and the hotel (it wasn't massively horrible, it was just horribly unnnecessary), and despite most of RHGP not being there, everyone that was there who-I'm-too-lazy-to-list-but-did-list-in-my-shout-outs-post-on-Coscom really made the con worth it. AZ 2.0 IMO, so much so that now I want to go to Nekocon.

Skipped a class to take a recuperative nap. DO NOT REGRET IT.

Gonna try to get most of my post-AWA stuff done tonight (with the exception of the report). I love my new kitty buttons, they're just sitting there...waiting to be buttonededed...

Also, I remember talking about FB to Casey and how she didn't add me (RACIST), and so I realize I know the majority of LJ people, so I'm not too paranoid about posting my actual name. And just as I was about to write it, I realized that I have that FB locked down, so it'd be hard to do so. SO INSTEAD, if you want to either add me on Facebook, MSN, or AIM, since I know I only talk to the majority of peeps on LJ on...LJ, then just comment and I'll do active work.

Founf the first non-Jordan-taken shot of Isaac. It was post-chestplate malfunction, but alas, it's better than nothing and shoes off the majority oft he costume. I think I need to use one oft hose little bread-tie thingies next time to tie the vest together to the little ropes,a nd also figure out a better knot for my belt sot hat the buckle shows, and that should do the trick. The wig is incredibly responsive, and the cape just needs a washing cause people were all STEPSTEPSTEP. Otherwise, LOVED wearing this.

My coherency level is up, just as I'm about to go to sleep. So I thought I'd make another quick post, and let pictures do the talking.

As always, people (pictured or not) made the con awesome. On that note, I have far worse (or better ;D) pictures of us and our shenanigans, such as JaredxRob!Myspaceangle and ADDIE!FACETIME, but I'll restrain myself a little. Moreso for my sleep than peoples' respective senses of dignity. I'm just impressed that I had enough energy to get through a caffeine-less morning. But then again, women-hunting is a boost of adrenaline.
